Gene Deitch is right, Duane was a natural animator! Terrytoons totally ripped off the square iris out scene transitions in this film for their later "Flebus" short. And to think that it's STILL radical to animate flat characters turning around and revealing their two dimensonality in 2006.

Yup. That movement didn't get much time. CG is the new round.
