In spite of less-than-stellar working conditions and a hectic schedule -both my fault- it was an honor and a thrill to get to draw these characters! I went through a ton of the old cartoons and printed out lots of my favorite poses of each of them...Tee Bosustow also had a few framegrabs for me. Gerald is actually based on a promotional drawing from around the time the McBoing Boing show was on the air. I lifted the pose but tried to make him closer to how he looks in the original short. You can see my 'final art' for the piece at this link:
