Just one more great Terry Gilliam movie. I'll be good. Well, mostly.PS - Looks like other bloggers are wishing, too...but for a U.S. distributor, which apparently Tideland doesn't have yet. Did The Brothers Grimm do well? Will it encourage anyone to pick up Gilliam's latest? Stay tuned.

Wow, that did look really promising *crosses fingers*
Yes! Fingers very crossed.
I've been looking forward to this movie for a while. Any word on when it will be released.
I'm not sure. There isn't a release date on the film's website?
Nobody has picked this up for US distribution at all, it seems. I'm following the film very closely on my blog.
Here are the various items (trailers, posters, international release details, etc;) that I have amassed so far:

I got a chance to see this at the Tiff. It's pure Gilliam, and I had the same relationship to it as I do all his movies. Always strange, but very memorable.
What is "The Tiff", j?
Hey Jeff,
Tiff is the Toronto International Film Fest.Terry Gilliam was there to open and introduce the film and it was screened at the beautiful Elgin Theater.
Cool! I'm envious. Well, I'm sure it'll make its way to San Francisco soon enough.
It was actually a canadian production I think. Gilliam applied for some government grants over here and shot it all in canada. Maybe that's why it's having trouble getting to the US.
'What gets made in Canada, stays in Canada.'
Huh. You'd think if it was fairly cheap to make, that someone would want to take the chance that Time Bandits might happen again.
