Toy Suggestion 3: Fred Goes Hollywood

Sorry - Hollyrock. Here's another nice potential set-up from the Monster From The Tar Pits episode. Fred in costume, with the director and star Cary Granite standing by. Lots of cool props and accessories to make, too!

I'm with you, Jeff. There is a huge circle jerk going on over on AnimationNation conceerning these toys. Everyone is praising Scott Shaww for his "designs".(I refuse to put that f---in' excalmation point in his name.)
Why does everyone kiss Scott Shaw's ass so much? He takes Ed Benedict designs an bleeds the life from them.
Get Craig Kellman! Or how about Mr. Ed Benedict hismself? Isn't he still alive?

I think Ed is still alive-- I had the chance to meet him last year. I agree with you about the toy designs-- I'm not really liking what they've come up with. Your suggestions are way better!

I'm pretty sure EB's still around, though I don't know if he'd want to bother with this stuff any more. Still, there's plenty of his old model sheets and episodes around to work from. Six seasons of the original run of the show! That's a lotta reference.

Craig Kellman's a great idea, too! I liked his work on the On The Rocks special a lot.

By the way, if anyone can find me a still of the Flintstones' car wobbling under the ribs at the drive-In restaurant, I'd appeciate it! The DVDs have the other opening and closing titles.

I was curious to read the H&B toy thread, but I couldn't find it. It's probably just as well, since I can't be very charitable.

Yeah, you'd just be infuriated. Scott himself is there patting himself on the back for teh great work he's doing. Everyone jumps in to agree with him.
Ponderous, man, f---in' ponderous.
