New Beaver Toy Color Model!

Here's the paint/color revisions that I requested. I'm still not sure that I'm happy with the pupils, but everything else (at least on my monitor) looks much better!

I like it. It's a step sideways from your drawings, but it works. I want one.

Looks great! Is the color a little browner?

I like it a lot.

Now about that price point ... (heehee!)

A step sideways? How so? I'm trying to get as close to the drawing as I can.

I think the new reddish-orange is a deeper, more saturated color.

As of this moment, it's going to cost $50 or $60. What did I say before? I forget.

I'm glad everyone's digging it, in any case!

I think you said $55 ... but you can check your own archives (lol).

The tail looks a whole lot better, but I agree that they haven't quite captured that dizzy, cute-but-crazy look of your original drawing.

I'm still interested in your plans on color variations ... but like this color almost as much as the "dirty" beaver.

If this goes well, how many color variations can your rabid fans expect? At $50 to $60 a pop ... some of us need to start saving today.

We'll see on what it's like to get this one nailed down! I may just do this version and the dirty beaver for this run.

Looking again at your original drawing ... the pupils seem to be placed a bit higher than you've drawn them. The horizontal position looks pretty good, though.

Jeff, it's 97-98 percent there and hopefully you'll get them to make additional adjustments until you're 100 percent satisfied.

I'm also glad to hear that you're looking to do the red (as pictured) and the dirty beaver ... probably be hard for me to pick from those two so I'll probably buy both.

Can't wait to see the color model for the dirty beaver -- that one might be a bit harder to pull off.

Nice stuff!
The Beaver model has real appeal.

On an unrelated note.....
Thought you might be interested
in this site as you were talking about "JACK'S BIG MUSIC SHOW" a few weeks ago.

Thanks!

Thanks also for the link - the Curious Buddies show looks super cute! They have tons of great puppet designs at that site!

Yeah their stuff is great!
The curious buddy stuff is really nice. They get tons of great expression and attitude out of the puppets even though they barely have any features!
