I haven't been to The Beguiling in quite some time. Its probably the best comic shop in Toronto that I've been to. I like the Silver Snail but you can't actually look at anything because all the books are bagged up or shrinkwrapped. Plus they don't carry the work of artists like Claire Wendling or Christophe Blain. Its still fun to go the Snail and look at all the Bowen busts and stuff like that, they have just a cart load of that kind of thing in stock.
I've heard all kinds of great things about The Beguiling. If I make a trip to Toronto, it's definitely on my things-to-do list!
But - I'll probably check out The Silver Snail, too, because I like me some merchandise!
