While I knew about his role as "Peanuts" animator, I didn't know that he supplied the "voices" of Snoopy and Woodstock.

I do know that he took part in the Disney strike -- and seemed pretty bitter about that period of his career. Still, I think he did a good job creating stories and bringing life to Sparky's work.

Jeff, Beautiful drawing, the perfect example of a picture being worth a thousand words!!!

I had the honor of meeting Bill several times & he was the real deal, the nicest person anyone would ever want to meet--with the strongest handshake I've ever encountered. Even last year, at age 90 & recently recovered from a broken hand, Bill's grip was powerful as ever.

Hanging out with Bill was like being with a favorite uncle, a lot of genuine warmth & great stories.

Bill was such a talented guy, just look at some of the things he worked on, from classic Disney & Looney Tunes to UPA to Peanuts... such a remarkable legacy!

& what a great drawing you did for him, Jeff! Wonderfully drawn!
